I am a 5th year Ph. D. candidate in Allison Shaw’s lab at the University of Minnesota. In my research, I use mathematical modeling to understand how animal migration shapes response to climate change and pathogen evolution.

Before starting my Ph. D., I got my B.A. in mathematics from Carleton College, taught high school math at the Conserve School, and did a Fulbright at NTNU in Norway.

Outside of academia, I enjoy many forms of propelling myself forward in the great outdoors (trail running! cross country skiing! canoeing! hiking!). I also have recently become an avid knitter!
